The sports committee of NMIMS, Navi Mumbai arranged the first event of 2020,” Seven Stones”. The students had the chance to relive their favorite game from their childhood.” Pithu” or "Lagori” is widely played by every kid across India. With this effort, the sports committee wanted to inculcate the importance of fitness within its students through traditional games which have been played on the streets from a very long time. In this fast-paced life we tend to forget the significance of playing sports and also tend to ignore fitness in our daily chores. Fitness can be a daily routine if the generation today introduces as a habit in their daily life.
With these strong virtues to hold upon, the sports committee brainstorms every month to introduce the gravity of playing sports by fun filled events. There were six teams in total who participated, with each team consisting of six players.in the battle of who runs the fastest and who hits the stones first, there were two finalist teams” Emperor’s Den” and "Hitman”. After a thrilling finale, it was the team from. MBA Tech 1st year, "Emperor’s Den” who triumphed over all the teams.
The sports committee of NMIMS, Navi Mumbai made tremendous efforts to arrange yet another successful event and it was even the huge participation of its students that made this event an enthusiastic one.
