QUIZ COMPETITION

Transcending the horizons, once again, the driving force of NMIMS, the young minds showed their skills and strengths by representing their respective teams in the general knowledge quiz held on 14th September 2019 in the premises of STME by Stu-Co. The energy and enthusiasm of the students brightened the competition.

The quiz covered various aspects of general knowledge like current affairs, politics and sports. As always, the student council left no stone unturned to conduct the competition with utmost discipline and at the same time ensuring fair play in the competition. The quiz was energizing and at the same time informative and updating.

After completing the initial selection process, the 3 fine teams reaching the finale included Manthan Tripathi’s team from MBA Tech first year batch who won by cracking the tie breaker question, Aditya Agarwal’s team from MBA Tech second year batch who won by a lead of 17 points and Yash Mange’s team from B-Tech first year who won by a lead of 6 points.

The finals were conducted on the same day. All of the audience cheered and hailed with joy in support of their respective teams. The finals consisted of rounds namely,

The three teams played with confidence and honesty, finally making Yash Mange’s team the winner of the event. The zeal of the students was remarkable throughout the event. The Winners for the competition were Yash Mange, Hritika Doshi, Khushi Sidana and Sanjali Chandola.

The overall competition was a joyous activity with all the teams ending up learning something from each other. The three teams were really promising and reflected the virtues and principles of NMIMS and ‘Transcending Horizons’ altogether.
