In its spirit of holistic development, SVKM’s NMIMS, School of Technology Management &
Engineering, Navi Mumbai hosted a 5 Day Workshop from the 19th of November, 2019 to
23rd of November, 2019 on Artificial Intelligence Applications using Python, in association
with EduxLabs and NSS IIT-Roorkee.
The workshop was organized with the motive of reinvigorating and promulgating the spirit of
Industry 4.0, and impart the skillset of using AI and Machine Learning to solve problems ad
rem.
AI almost appears to be a hackneyed term these days as nearly every firm tries to adapt the
sudden advancement in this field, but that only speaks volumes to its capabilities in helping
solve important problems.
To address this augmentation shift of the technological eco-system
and towards acclimating to more pragmatic and relevant technologies, NMIMS Navi Mumbai
is determined to create opportunities for its students to explore greater horizons of education and the possibilities of impact the world.
The five days National Short-Term Training Program was delivered by Mr. Deepesh Kumar
Mishra, who is a freelance corporate-trainer in the domains of IOT, Machine Learning,
Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Deep learning. With an experience of conducting more
than 100 workshops, he made the sure the sessions walked on the fine line of being extremely
informative, interesting, and expeditious at the same time, while providing students with handson practical demonstrations on various sects of the training program, and opening a world of
opportunities for them.
Overall the workshop proved to be an incredible platform for beginners to understand the
current state of "new-age” technologies and how the budding students in this field should not
only inculcate but be at the frontier of these advancements in the interests of the coming times.
SVKM’s NMIMS, Navi Mumbai has made significant efforts to introduce state-of-the-art
technologies such as Block chain, Web Securities, Industry 4.0, Robot designing etc. and
