On 11th August National Librarians day was celebrated at SVKM NMIMS Navi Mumbai Campus. The theme for the event was Research Techniques. Dr. P.N.Mukherjee inaugurated the event. Dr. Sadlapur (Chief Librarian NMIMS) briefed participants about work of Dr. Ranganathan and why librarian day is celebrated. Dr. Sushil Chaurasia and Dr. Surabhi Verma were the resource persons. Librarians from SVKM group were participated in the event. The workshop was very informative and Thought provoking. Participants got incites about how research can be done and How they can improve their publications. Second session was hands on session on vosviewer where participants learned about how to find research gaps, how value addition can be done in research work. The Librarians day event was grand success.
